If your practice runs its workflow on OrthoBridge, connecting it to DentalMonitoring removes the double entry, patient lookups and app-switching that normally sit between an orthodontic consult and the patient's remote-monitoring record. Overview
The OrthoBridge integration embeds DentalMonitoring directly inside OrthoBridge so patient data and monitoring activity stay aligned across the two platforms.
- Patient creation: create new patients in DentalMonitoring directly from OrthoBridge.
- Patient pairing: link existing OrthoBridge patients to their DentalMonitoring profile.
- Patient updates: keep patient data in sync between the two systems.
- In-app DM access: open Doctor Notifications, Patient search and a patient's DentalMonitoring card from the OrthoBridge side menu — no need to switch to the DM dashboard.
Prerequisites
- A DM API Key. If you have not done so already, generate your DM API Key.
Setup your OrthoBridge integration
Once you have your DM API Key, activating the integration is a two-sided action — you generate the key, and OrthoBridge switches on the integration on their end:
- Contact OrthoBridge customer support and let them know you want to enable the DentalMonitoring integration.
- Send them the DM API Key you generated in the prerequisites.
- OrthoBridge activates the API on their side. Once activation is confirmed, a Dental Monitoring entry appears in the OrthoBridge side menu and the integration is ready to use.
